Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Ground cayenne pepper, ground oregano leaf, lemon powder, clove oil.
Inactive Ingredients: Hypoallergenic (medical grade) adhesive, nylon.

How to Use the Anti-Lick Strip

For Bee Sting or Hot Spots

  • Open the Anti-Lick Strip box or package and remove an alcohol wipe and an Anti-Lick Strip.
  • Open the alcohol wipe and clean the intended area of use.  (This is to ensure a secure bond between your pets fur and the adhesive.) Let dry.
  • Carefully open the Anti-Lick Strip and remove the bandage.  Peel back the bandage to expose the adhesive.
  • Apply the Anti-Lick Strip with the adhesive side facing your pet's fur.  The Anti-Lick Strip is designed to fall off after a period of days.  A stronger adhesive will be available through your veterinarian.

On Paws

  • Place one end of the sticky side to the pad surface of the paw.
  • Wrap over th top of the paw, pressing into contours of individual toes.
  • Trim width of the Anti Lick strip to fit paw width.
  • Overlap the strip onto itself at least 1/2 inch.  Trim off any extra length.

Double or triple wrap-arounds are encouraged for more aggressive dogs and produce increased effectiveness.

Open wound or sore on leg (Open Lick Granuloma)
 
 
Do NOT apply the Anti-Lick Strip directly to any open wound or sore.

Instead, first apply a small piece of gauze over the open wound, then adhere the Anti-Lick Strip OVER the Guaze covering the open sore.

Finish by attaching the Anti-lick Strip directly to the dogs fur/hair, taking care to overlap onto itself at least 1/2 inch.

Trim any excess strip.
