The ergonomic Clik-r was designed by the well known dog trainer and instructor Terry Ryan.  This clicker fits comfortably in your hand and stays there with its elastic finger strap.  The raised button on the clicker makes it easy to click and treat while training your dog.  If your dog is sound sensitive, the click sound is just right meaning it's not too loud or too soft.

About Clicker Training

Clicker training is used to mark the precise behavior that you want your dog to perform using conditional reinforcement.  This helps you to communicate with your dog so they immediately understand what you want. You start clicker training by simply clicking and then rewarding your dog with a small tasty treat.  This initially teaches the dog that when they hear the click they get something really good.

Clicker training is a fun activity for you and your dog.  You'll be amazed at how quickly your dog will learn.  It does take practice to time your clicks properly but don't worry about your mistakes.  Both you and your dog are learning together. 

The best part of clicker training is the quality time you both spend together.  The rewards you share are the fun while training and the new behaviors your dog quickly learns from you.
