The K9 Truck Tether is a simple yet secure dog restraint system specifically designed for pickup truck beds that will keep your dog away from the sides of the truck bed walls so they don't fall out or be accidentally thrown over the side.

The K9 Truck Tether is a kit that contains the Wander Leash and the Cross Tether. They work together to limit the range of motion that your dog can move in the truck bed.  Your dog remains in the "safe zone" of the truck bed while traveling.

It also helps keep the dog from accidentally being thrown from the truck if you swerve to avoid an obstacle in the road, brake suddenly, or even when you hit bumps or potholes in the road.

Keeping your dog safe while riding in any vehicle is very important. If you let your dog ride in back so he/she can enjoy all the smells and wind blowing through their hair, consider investing in the K9 Truck Tether to keep them in the truck.

Restraining your dog in the bed of your truck is required by law in some U.S. cities, counties and states. Check your local laws for requirements.  The K9 Truck Tether has been designed to satisfy those requirements.

Restraining your dog in the bed of your truck is required by law in some U.S. cities, counties and states. Check your local laws for requirements.

CAUTIONS:
  • Never attach to a common dog collar.
  • Inspect the truck tether for signs of wear before each trip
  • Only attach the Wander Leash to the metal D-ring on the cross tether.  Attaching it to any other place could allow your dog to jump out of the truck bed.
  • Do not leave your dog unattended in the back of a pickup truck an any time.
  • Make sure your dog cannot get his paws up on the truck bed wall.  Make adjustments to length using the carabineer and the stitched slots on the leash.
