The traditional function and distinctive looks of the Leather Snap Leash match the exceptionally high quality leather providing great performance for many years.  The leather snap lead is handcrafted using the finest materials, the high quality leathers are tanned using the "English Bridle Leather process" for durability, weather resistance and a deep consistent color.

The Leather Snap Leash has a fully-stitched double edge design with a swivel square-eye bolt snap made of solid brass for corrosion resistance and has a floating handle ring.

Leather leashes are typically the preferred leash used by many dog trainers.   This leash is 6' long and 3/4" wide.

English bridle leather has a reputation as one of the world's finest leathers because of its natural characteristics and flawless vegetable tan finish. The leather has a very tight grained smooth surface, and has been treated with oils and wax to give it the right amount of stand-up firmness, but enough flexibility to make it last a really long time. While English Bridle leather is more expensive, no other leather has the same look or ages so beautifully.

The six-week vegetable tanning process of steeping leather in various strengths of infusions of wood bark, leaves, nuts and water helps preserve the natural characteristics and adds strength.

English Bridle Leather is relatively stiff when new.  With proper care and break-in, it will become soft and supple with outstanding durability.
