The EZ Steps Low Impact Leash is a shock absorbing leash with an nice comfortable handle. The Low Impact Leash is specifically designed for dogs up to 35 lbs and is made with the most durable and carefully selected materials in a patented ergonomic design.

Relieve Stress with Bungee Action

This dog leash will relieve stress on your arms, neck and shoulders brought about by constant pulling or sudden lunges by your dog while on leash. It also relieves considerable stress to your dog, eliminating the sudden jolt of traditional leashes. The shock absorbing bungee action also eventually tires out your dog, helping to teach them loose leash walking.

Natural Materials and Pull Tested

Para Rubber Tree natural soft bonded rubber and extra durable hydrogen bonded super rubber combine to absorb tension and provide strength. The Low Impact Leash has also been pull tested to a maximum weight tolerance of 110 lbs. Each leash is 43 inches long and will stretch an additional 15".

If you have a dog weighing more that 35 lbs., the Big Dog Control Leash is also available.

About the Para Rubber Tree

The para rubber tree initially grew only in tropical South America, in the Amazon region. Increasing demand and the discovery of the vulcanization procedure in 1839 lead to a boom in that region. Today most rubber tree plantations are in South and Southeast Asia and some also in tropical West Africa.

The rubber tree is of major economical importance because its sap (known as latex) can be collected and used to make rubber. The trunks are cut just deep enough to tap the vessels without harming the tree's growth, and the sap is collected in small buckets. This process is known as rubber tapping.
