The PetBuckle Travel kit contains four items made of automotive quality hardware: the Kwik-Connect Tether, Seat Belt Adapter, PetBuckle Seat Belt Harness and a storage bag.  Everything you need to keep your dog safely restrained and comfortable in your vehicle allowing you to drive without distraction or worry about injury to your dog if an accident happens.
 
Kwik-Connect Tether
The unique connector fastens directly to vehicle latch bars now required on all vehicles or to any seat belt or cargo area tie-down point through the use of the included adapter. This quick and easy attachment provides more freedom of moment for your dog during travel.
 
PetBuckle Seat Belt Harness
The PetBuckle Seat Belt Harness in this kit is a universal fit for dogs 20 lbs to 120 lbs. It's made of heavy duty seat belt webbing with reinforced seams and uses seat belt type buckles to close the harness.  This harness is very easy to put on and take off and making quick sizing adjustments is simple. 
 
Seat Belt Adapter
The seat belt adapter is provided to be used with any automotive seat belt.

3 Options for Attachment

Option 1 - Latch Equipped Vehicle
  • PetBuckle Latch EquippedLatch option is only for dogs from 10 to 60 pounds.
  • Using the Kwik-Connect Tether, attach the snap hook to the metal ring of the harness and the connector onto the anchors.
  • Listen for a click as the connector latches to the anchor and pull to make sure the connector is locked in place.
  • For added safety, it is recommended that the tether be adjusted to the shortest length comfortable for the dog.

Option 2 - Seat Belt AdapterPetBuckle Seat Belt Adapter

  • Seat Belt Adapter is for dogs 10 to 120 pounds.
  • Slip seat belt through the Seat Belt Adapter loop and buckle the seat belt.
  • The Kwik-Connect Tether can now be attached to the metal ring on the adapter.

Option 3 - Use Vehicle Seat BeltPetBuckle - Seat Belt Attachment

  • Seat belt can be used for dogs 10 to 200 pounds.
  • Slip the vehicle’s seat belt through the loop of the harness on the dogs back
  • Buckle the seat belt.
