The D.O.G. Spring coat is designed to drape over the dog's body in order to provide more coverage in the rain. This coat is measured by the manufacturer from the base of the collar to the beginning of the dart at the opposite end. The photos in this section show the measurements of the D.O.G. Spring Coat: size Small.
All exchanges for this coat were for a smaller size so be sure to consider the additional length of the darted area that is not included in the measurement from the manufacturer. This dog rain coat is designed to be a bit larger than normal. Think about your own raincoat for a minute. Does it fit you perfectly or is it a bit loose, baggy and over sized to help protect you more from the elements? Ultimately, the fit you prefer on your dog is up to you. Sometimes big is just too big.
