Assembly and Installation

1. Measure the distance (height) from the floor to the ceiling for the area of the vehicle in which you are installing the Pet Partition™.
   • If the height measures 33-41”, you will need to use the 13 ½” extension tubes.
   • If the height measures 40-50”, you will need to use the 21 ½” extension tubes.
2. Connect the two frames, making sure that the “button” snaps into place.
3. Slide the two extension tubes into the larger opening of the vertical tubes found at the bottom of the frame.
4. Place the feet on the bottom extension tubes (which should be connected to the frame) and place the Pet Partition™ in position in the vehicle.
5. Adjust bottom extension tubes so that the bottom rung of the Pet Partition™ is slightly behind, and in a lower point, than the back of the seat and the feet on the extension tubes are firmly planted on the floor.
6. Insert the threaded adjusters into the top ends of the vertical tubes and install the remaining feet on the ends.
7. Make adjustments so the feet on the top fit secure and snug against the ceiling.
   • NOTE: If you have a vehicle that has an air conditioning duct, make sure that the Pet Partition™ is adjusted so there is not too much pressure against the duct.
8. Finally, adjust the width of the Pet Partition™ by extending the horizontal hoops to within one inch of the window or framework of the vehicle.
