Learning to read your dog's body language and determining whether he is feeling anxious can help you stop unwanted behaviors.
Your dog may be feeling fearful and anxious if you see some of these signs:
  • The dog leans back his weight on his hind legs.
  • He might pull his ears back closer to his head.
  • He may hang his tail down between his rear legs.
  • He may also lick his lips in a nervous gesture.
